Description
Description
Every last cup should count. Final Breath is our decaf for the ones who refuse to let bedtime win the argument — a full-flavored Indonesian coffee with all the depth and none of the 2 a.m. regret. Roasted to order in small batches from Sumatra Mandheling beans, it proves that “decaffeinated” and “worth drinking” can share a mug.
Flavor & experience
This is a medium roast that drinks bigger than it reads. Expect earthy, herbal character wrapped around a core of dark chocolate, with a full body and syrupy weight that coats the tongue. Acidity is low and forgiving, so the cup lands smooth, rounded, and quietly bold from first sip to last — the kind of coffee you’d never guess had been stripped of its caffeine.
How to brew it. Grind medium-coarse for a French press or medium for a drip machine, and aim for roughly 1 gram of coffee to 16 grams of water. Its low acidity and full body make it a natural for immersion brewing — pull the plunger slow and let that Sumatran weight do the talking. New to plunger brewing? Our French press coffee guide walks you through it.
Who it’s for. Evening sippers, expecting coffee lovers, shift workers winding down, and anyone chasing flavor over a caffeine spike. Explore more low-key roasts in the Bone Yard, or if you still want brightness without the buzz, pair it with our light-roast Last Call. Choose whole bean or ground at checkout — this specialty coffee ships fresh, roasted to order.

Brewing Recommendations
Brewing Recommendations
For best results, use 2 tablespoons of freshly ground coffee per 6oz of filtered water. Grind coarse for French press, medium for drip, and fine for espresso. Brew with water just off the boil (195–205°F) and drink within 30 minutes of brewing for peak flavor.
