Description
Description
The witching hour has a house coffee. Midnight Reaper is a bold Brazil-and-Mexico medium roast built for the dark side of smooth — a full-bodied cup with just enough shadow to match the hour you’re drinking it.
Flavor & experience
Brazilian and Mexican beans combine into a rich, satisfying medium roast that drinks fuller than most. Chocolate-covered almond leads, sweet maple syrup rounds out the middle, and a bright flicker of citrus keeps the finish from ever feeling flat. The body is full and smooth, the character bold without turning bitter — a comforting, dessert-adjacent cup with real backbone.
How to brew it. That full body makes it a natural for immersion. Grind medium-coarse for a French press at about 1 part coffee to 16 parts water to lean into the maple-and-almond richness, or brew it drip for a cleaner, brighter cup. New to plunger brewing? Start with our French press coffee guide.
Who it’s for. Late-night sippers, early risers, and anyone who wants a bold cup that still tastes smooth and sweet. Rich and full-bodied with notes of dark chocolate, toasted caramel, and a smooth, lingering finish. A subtle brightness balances the deep roast character, making every cup smooth enough to drink black and bold enough to cut through cream.
Brewing Recommendations
Brewing Recommendations
For best results, use 2 tablespoons of freshly ground coffee per 6oz of filtered water. Grind coarse for French press, medium for drip, and fine for espresso. Brew with water just off the boil (195–205°F) and drink within 30 minutes of brewing for peak flavor.
